Miracle

iworship_praise “Remember the miracles he performed, the amazing things he did, and the judgments he pronounced.” Psalm 105:5

The Father will often impress on me a single word for me to meditate on for the day…today that word was miracle.

It is a miracle Father God loves me…

It is a miracle my wife loves being married to me…

It is a miracle that my kids think I’m a great dad…

It is a miracle that I have totally awesome friends…

These are genuine miracles…things I contribute to, work on, but can not make happen. They are the result of a God who loves me and desires to rock my world with His presence. These miracles are God moments, holy reflections of His grace and purpose for my life. My participation is part wonder and worship…recognizing and acknowledging the personal touch of God.

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” ~ Albert Einstein

I'm wondering...what miracles do you see?

My life is a miracle.  I also have a miracle in a wife who loves me; 2 daughters who at 36 & 32 still think I am cool and still tell me they love me; a grandson who reminds me why children were given to younger parents :); some really cool friends that I get the privilege of hanging around with; a church community that still wants me; and of course, a God who stands with me.  Thanks Jay for the thought-provoking post this morning.

I'm with you!  My miracles are about the people in my life - my husband and my children who love me even though I am imperfect and often blow it.  And my gracious and wonderful friends - I'm so BLESSED.
