Friday Fest – Poster Giveaway

 king large

Today I thought I give away a poster I designed for my Strategic Fathering site here on Soulfari. You may not know this but I have been a graphic designer for what seems all my life, if you are curious (and I hope you will be) you can see some of my work here. Anyways, here’s the poster, I hope it blesses you. Oh yeah, I also posted a poem from a few years ago…it re-spoke to me this morning!

Blessings, Jay

Pained Prize

I reach through the mist for
the hem of Heaven’s hope.
My hands, wet with the cold
lining of clouds.

There my dreams stare back
into closed eyes of unbelief.

I trade their moisture for a
drop more of things not seen.
Vision fills the dryness of sight
and eyes open once more.

I carry the pained prize of faith
with the sure steps of conviction.

I still love that poster. So great! Also, I love when those moments and words from other times come and re-speak to us. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Thanks Jay. :)

I think your design work is amazing. I've been needing to get some done myself. How much do you charge?

This looks great, Jay!

I've always wanted to get more into graphic design. I have photoshop and I worked for a web design company for 4 years but I did project management. I can do the basics but I'm not much of an "artist".

One of these days I'll get around to taking some PS lessons online.

And I love this: "the hem of Heaven's hope."
